A page (12.5 x 19.5cm) with handwriting in red ink by Mark E. Smith, apparently a letter to Melody Maker in response to words by Julian Cope. With a second cutting seemingly to end the note (13 x 4cm). Letter would published by Melody Maker on 9 January 1982.

Consigned directly from Mark E. Smith's personal collection by Mark's family. Edited 22nd March with amendments. Thanks to Twitter user Dannyno for clarification.
